The next masterclass in our guest line up is Emma Twyford. Emma, is one of the Uk’s top climbers, haivng climbed 8b+ sport, E9 Trad and bouldered V10. In 2013 Emma became the second british female to climb E9, with her ascent of Rare Lichen in Ogwen, North Wales. Not only this but Emma has a Degree in Sports coaching so certainly knows a thing or to when it comes to guiding climbers on their paths to crushing those routes and problems. Red Spider's opening day went down a blast. With climbers new and old turning up to get the holds chalky, and kids to sail the high seas on the Red Spider Pirate Ship! There was a great vibe and it was really nice to hear all the positive feedback.
This is also great news for all of White Spider's Direct Debit, Pre-Paid and Punch Card members as you will be able to climb at Red Spider using you existing membership. So now there's no excuse not to make a trip to the coast for a spot of indoor bouldering. Or if you get rained off at Swanage, why not pop in and say hello on the way past!
Where is Red Spider?
